I'll see you and raise you Stoke, Blackpool playoffs and Yeovil play offs
The two last year where we lost 3-2 after being two goals up as well. At the time I remember saying (only half joking) we'd have lost that 3-2 last year so that's progress of sorts.

I can't remember worse than yeovil that was a low point especially getting outplayed in that way
We weren’t being outplayed until extra-time.It was level at 1-1 with less than 10 minutes left-
even when Yeovil scored their second the odds were strongly on Forest.
We lost the plot in extra-time (not helped by Prutton’s reckless challenge and red card).
A pitiful capitulation.

Not sure if you're out this way but have you tried the Turkish place in Beeston?
I've been in London these past decades, but I used to go to Antalya on Parliament Street (?) in Nottingham. The owner, Mehmet, also had a place down here near Russell Square but, sold up when he retired. A generous and gracious host. I didn't realise the one in Nottingham had closed until a few minutes ago; I thought it was still run by his son :-(

Never been to a place in Beeston, but my mum used to mention getting bread from somewhere out that way, when she lived near Bramcote in the 90's, so it might be the same place?!

I'll have to give it look next time I'm up that way. Thanks for the tip!

Good luck Joe, I think he’s been on the way out ever since we we won promotion. We’ve signed 5 cb’s which must be pretty destabilising. All have made as many clangers as Joe but seem to have got off much more lightly, he was instrumental in our solid run at the end of last season and he’s definitely been MOTM on a couple of occasions, he can hold his head high..

Had Cloughie been in charge against Luton it wouldn't have been a huge shock to see Joe hooked, even if it meant leaving us a player short for the last few minutes.
He could get away with that when we were one of the top teams in the league. I dont recall that happening in the relegation season

I agree its bizarre Worrall seems to be held to a higher standard than new signings despite people saying he isnt as good

If we get relegated and all these shiny new signings piss off as they dont want to play in the championship we will be crying out for a player and a leader like Joe.

Agreed. As a supporter it's been quite dispiriting to see the harsh criticism Joe has been subjected to, in stark contrast to our equally fallible pricey imports, so I can't even begin to imagine how he must have felt. For me he'll always be a Forest icon, and I will harbour the hope that one day he makes a triumphant return in the Garibaldi.

It didn't mate. I was making a point about how unpredictable Cloughie could be when angered by a player.
I remember him lamping Roy Keane once, for (if I remember correctly) having given the ball away in a prior match.

I've always admired Joe. He came into a side under Montanier that was abysmal defensively and immediately he was standing up and taking responsibility, never hiding, even giving leadership to players who were supposed to be much more experienced and senior than he was. Those qualities deserve credit at any club, but all the more so at ours, given how many passengers we've carried over the years. I don't think he's good enough to play in a 2 CB formation in the PL but he has shown that he can be very good as one of 3. I hope getting away clears his head and allows for a reset with the club in the summer.

If the PL gets its wish and ensures that we're back in the EFL next season, I wouldn't be surprised to see Joe back in the fold, unless he does really well in Turkey and Besiktas wish to pay a decent fee for him. The experience of playing in another country, having to adapt to a different culture and style of football could prove very beneficial for him if he does return.

Talk about hyping-up an interview. If Joe explaining how he doesn't rule-out a future for him here is "spilling the beans", I can't imagine how boring a routine interview would be.
it was worse as Jim Shite said that the interview had been recorded this morning, so he knew full well that no beans were spilt before he said that...
i'm sure it will be uploaded to their youtube channel later, but its not worth bothering with IMO
