Looking at the other teams who would be 'in the mix', I feel like we are the obvious choice for a pacey striker to get some minutes. And also the team on fire from the media's point of view... Could be interesting if we put in a bid. I think we have a pretty good relationship with City as well.

To be honest i've never seen him play, but his record speaks for itself. Didn't he score nearly a goal a game for Feyenoord? If any of the top championship clubs are going to get him it seems we're the perfect fit with our owners being friends with City's.

He was unstoppable at Feyenoord before going to City. Can't say I've seen a whole lot of him, but the fact that City considered him to be part of their strike force, tells you everything you need to know really. I think I know what I want for easter, Fawaz?

You'd hope that considering their owner has previously said he'd like to help Fawaz out if he needed it then if Guidetti is available, we'd be a good shout for him.

He's not going to touch the City squad for the rest of the season without game time, and on that link from a City fan, they reckon he wouldn't even get in the squad next year! could be a real quality addition if we can get him until the end of next season! I hope Fawaz hasn't gone on holiday in the international break, need to be having some discussions!

i wouldnt be fooled by goal-scoring record in netherlands. Eredivisie is a bit like scottish premier league only with 4 or 5 decent teams rather than 1. Alfonso Alves once scored 9 in a game in that league and look how shite he was in England.

Worth a try though but I doubt he would get in the team ahead of Cox or Sharpe + 1 of Blackstock/Henderson will always start every game.

Agreed, it's not the greatest standard in Europe, however City must have seen something if they thought he could even contend for a place with the talent they have (or had at that point) so i'm hoping they saw something we might have overlooked. Plus, it's the best option I have seen for us to strengthen the strikers since it was mentioned by Billy.

may not need a midfielder either,(well winger) but you never know: injury, suspension, loss of form from a couple of players then suddenly you're a bit short of options. Next season is the season to be in the Prem, with even a bottom place finish earning you more money than this seasons champions will..
Get say him & sinclair in, then would be spoilt for choice for options, with cover for injuries etc...
