When you see the 1 year deal it's like the Cook deal but on steroids. He is away from the normal player we target but we saw a good deal and a deal to be done and pounced on it. The club deserve huge credit

Wasn't sure about this but a 1 year deal seems the best option for us, if he performs and helps us stay up we can look to extend. If he gets another better option from elsewhere we'll be in a better position to attract other quality players going into a 2nd year in the prem!
