Just spoken to my 79 yr old dad, life long supporter who I blame for my involvement he says "making a lot of good noises, but seemingly with derisory offers...,leading supporters on somewhat" well maybe he's right to a degree, we do seem to be interested in players often but aren't willing to go get them most of the time, the decent ones anyway.

Sounds like Forest are after Jed too. Surely other teams in and around the playoffs should be in the running as well as he’d make a very good addition for any of them with ambitions. May as well let him go now as we won’t be challenging with our approach and if we do get some cash for him we can spend it on defenders as we need a few more for our exciting tactics.

I don't think that's derisory at all for a player with 6 months left. According to Transfermarkt it'd be the second highest fee they've received for a player in the last decade (with their all-time record sale George Saville being top).
