It’s ADIDAS (again!) and KAIYUN SPORTS not MACRON, not BOXT, or UNHCR

We got tangled up with another seemingly straight deal, but which turned out very odd indeed, that Index thing.

Isn't the gambling sponsorship going the way of fag and drinks advertsising? Banned.

On the front, it will be banned. Arm sponsorship will still be allowed.

Any idea if we’re getting any Black Friday discount on the kit?

Just priced up a present of home kit with a name and number and it’s an eye watering £91!

They had the third kit on sale a week or so ago but they keep changing the deals almost on a daily basis

What’s the fit like on the adidas shirts?

is medium quite generous or a bit snug if you’re usually a M for other tops?

Just wondering whether to size up to an L!

The sizing is generous. Whatever you were in Macron, size down for Adidas.

I was XXL in Macron and the XL in Adidas is perfect this year

For some stupid reason I posted the same thing in the 23/24 new kits thread.

I ordered one anyway, it reminds me of Operation Desert Storm.

At least them having two kits for £100 makes them almost sensibly priced, if indeed you then have to decide to either pay full price for one or not to have one at all. They could do something like all 3 for £150, no doubt the club makes a shit ton out of this anyway as the shirts presumably cost about 50p to make.

The percent clubs make from shirt sales is not what you would imagine, they make nothing compared to the manufacturers which is probably the reason for the high price.

If they'd make a bigger percentage then they could sell them a lot cheaper.

This is correct - and the reason why some clubs will often move supply to a lesser-known brand (Castore who?), where they will have more leverage to negotiate a larger percentage than they would with Adidas - whose negotiations are very much along the lines of 'pay us x% or go elsewhere, don't even bother trying to negotiate'. Of course, clubs who do then bring in those lesser-known brands get an avalanche of fans moaning they've moved away from Adidas...

Huh. Anyone would think they were German, or something?

Yes, there's no doubt that the club gets a fair whack but Adidas will too, or whoever makes the shirts in question. It still doesn't hide the fact they won't cost a lot to actually make though lol :D

I'm pretty sure that I've read somewhere that the club makes about £8 on the Adidas shirt

Speaking of which.

New arrival today

Edit: its definitely gold and not teabag brown. The photos don't look the same colour in person
