It's a bit of an odd one this as he seems to play anywhere down the left.

Who does he replace - Richards or Aurier?

Or someone else?

Aurier is right sided
I know. But I had assumed Aina was purchased for the left. He's primarily right sided so would slot in there perfectly.

Plus there's the rumours of Aurier being offered to Saudi.

Plus, as much as he's a nicely solid player, Aurier doesn't fit with the pace thing and nearly always turns back to pass inside or back.

Richards. He will cover the season and Richards can focus on getting himself fit for the 2024/25 campaign.

But Aina can play either side. Someone has to be going, we have Aina, Williams, Aurier, Omar, Toff, and "Jalobs" 6 wing backa for 2 roles, rule out Toff for a ban still leaves 5 plus Biancone.
I think it'll be:

Left
Richards and Jakobs

Right
Aina and Williams

Biancone third cover and also for centre half. Having Williams and Aina available for the left means that's plenty enough.

Rather fond of a drink if you care to read any of the sarcastic comments of (bitter?) French fans.

Strange one for us youtube scouts, he's played 60 times for Monaco but barely any footage of him, its mostly with Senegal. Definitely has the hallmarks of being an attacking wing back than a defending full back. All roads leading to 3 at the back this season.

Barely even looks like a wing back. Looks much more like a winger.

Tackling and passing stats are gash but I’m sure there’s a plan being hatched.

"Jakobs was sanctioned at the start of the week for breach of collective rules after having cheerfully enjoyed the festivities surrounding the F1 Grand Prix which was held over the weekend. last end in the Principality."

Sounds like he went to the Monaco F1 and "cheerfully enjoyed the festivities". :)
Fast forward 12 months to him "enjoying the festivities at the greyhound races"!

Good signing but isn’t it going to be a problem when the african cup of nations starts and we have both full backs away???
