Well the thought is that we are going 3 at the back, which means the Lwb role would need less defensive work.

Maybe they are looking at converting him to a winger too.

I know quite literally nothing about this guy hah, but he feels like a signing to compete with Omar (and possibly Aina), rather than a “blow your socks off, first name on the team sheet” type.

Not too fussed about the character stuff, until it rears its head here. Hopefully he gets the job done and didn’t cost the earth

I dunno, this just feels like a quantity over quality signing, which is exactly what we don't need. Feel like we need to sell some players before we start adding squad depth.

This seems like a decent signing to me.

Jakobs, Aina and Williams gives us 3 good options at left wingback, with Niakhate also able to play left-back occasionally.

Yeah, I simply can’t see Cooper trusting Dennis in a meaningful game again. There is a player in there somewhere, but he’s a complete liability for our set-up.

Yeah or they know the quality of player wanted at a more important spot (in their mind) requires significant money, so they have to be smart elsewhere.

Happy with the direction and mould of signings it seems we are going for.

Fast athletic young players with international and domestic experience. Perfect for Cooper to transform into even better players under his mentorship.

I still think we will play with back 3, which gives the LB/RB to become more LWB/RWB - and use thm for their pace up and down the flanks instead of their defensive capabilities, as you'll have the back 3 to do that.

Hate to be a broken record but Spence really does fit the mould for that right side now.
