Must be the way it's linked on your phone, still showing up on mine.

Twitter linked are only ever an issue on here, can't directly click a link that's embedded eg with pic, but usually if I hold a hyper link one it it will open. Never used to be an issue til recently, but at least it's working.

Possibly. But a complete idiot regardless. Heckingbottom showed the entire football world what sort of human being he was last night too. Graceless.

Look into the pay of any executive involved in any charity you could name and come back to me. If you have any spare money people give it to your local hospice or the like but not a charity, not much of your money will get to the actual charity.

You mean significantly lower than chief execs in the private sector? Something that's replicated across the board with most charity roles.

Even if it was commensurate with the private sector, so what??? Why shouldn't someone earn their market value whilst doing good?

You do realise the more professional a charity, the more income it will generate, and the more efficiently it'll use it? Which ultimately equals more people being helped.

That's BS and a piss poor excuse. Was all the trouble we caused including a kid being glasses in the first leg also because of this?

Not been able to work out why, never used to be like this. Can @Strummer shed any light?

I sort of can…

I have found, if you’re using Tapatalk on an Android device, it seems to try be clever and „wrap“ the link to the Tweet in some weird tags that the forum software doesn’t recognise.

I don’t know why this is, but I have noticed it before.

Often if I see such links, I do a quick Ninja-edit on the post in question and remove the broken tags, so that the link works.

If for example, I copy the link to a Tweet on iOS on my iPhone or iPad, I get the following:

https://twitter.com/nffc/status/1526693051820920834?s=21&t=g2-lqFAMJ0rOnSV2cwco8w

The link in this case is just a straight HTTPS address, and that should work (so, even on Android, you should see the Tweet as directly linked, rather than just the URL).

I don’t know why, but I’ve seen when Android users post links, it wraps them in the following tag:

[ TWEET ] and then [ /TWEET ] at the end (I have added extra spaces so you can see the codes).

All I do when I see a Tweet link that isn’t working, is edit the post to remove the [ TWEET ] and [ /TWEET ] tags, which seems to fix it?

It could also be the formatting of the links from whatever Twitter client you’re copying the link from - I use the „official“ Twitter client on iOS, and I just get a link that is https://….(url) when I copy from that client, and paste directly (99% of the time, in to Tapatalk).

If I click on one like you've posted, I get "no app found to handle this action" (and I have twitter installed, Android).

The hyperlink ones, I get two show up and the one without the TWEET bit opens up a little menu if I hold it, with the option to open with the Twitter app. It's only the ones as above I can't open, at all, so I miss alot of content

Can you get a screen shot of what you’re seeing?

Maybe send me by PM to avoid cluttering this thread up.

It's why no f***er should go on the pitch all for a f***ing selfie
I agree,Barry.
To be fair,I can see no reason for supporters to encroach onto the field of play before, during or after
the game(despite it being an emotional night).Nick Randall made a specific request via the club
website for supporters not to invade after the game-but this was ignored by thousands who thought they knew
better.
I recall George Elokobi getting chinned after another invasion at Reading 2012.
For me the solution is simple, any spectator caught on the pitch for no reason is banned for life.
I’m totally fed up with moronic and anti social behaviour.

Big business is scamming the working public in a different way, running the current government at the same time. All peas from the same pod. If the masses knew how little of their own money got to helping they wouldn't pay up. The elite class only want you to know so much. There is good reason why business finance and law are not taught in our great state comps.

Whether the leadership comes from left, or big business right they are out to scam you. Look at the tax you are paying. Be self-employed, learn tax and the law and you can take back some control.

My favorite author made this statement in one of his novels. "The future belongs to crowds". Possibly the most incisive statement by an author in the past 50 years.

Oh right, you're one of those. Got it...

Thr charity I'm involved with runs at about 93% going to charitable activities. I'll happily link the books to you, would be good if you provided data for your wee rant.

There was no real attempt to keep anybody off the pitch last night. They knew we were going on if we won, just like all home play-off winners.

One person does a stupid act and you want to ban everybody. I can't see the reason there. The players were fine out there, quite happy to share their joy with the fans, many who have only seen a failing Forest.

The field of play is NOT for spectators-particularly when they’re popped up,coked up,throwing flares right
left and centre, ruining the playing surface and liable to attack opposition players.
I’m afraid it sums up the lack of discipline and respect in society generally.

One of what exactly? Link me those books, it would be the first I have ever seen and I have filed a lot of charity books over the years. It isn't a rant, protect your hard earned. The tax code is 2100 pages long and there to be used. The masses don't know it but big business, union and charity bosses certainly do. First step get off PAYE.

Agree, nothing good can become of letting folk on a professional football pitch, but something bad certainly can.

Whats the point anyway, I get a kid might want to run on the pitch, but if your over 12yrs old, I don't see what your getting out of it.

if you asked any player, Id bet he preferred it if fans dont come on.
