It doesn't matter if he didn't win anything in his time at Forest, Billy Davies is clearly a better manager than Brian Clough ever was.

I really can't be arsed to read through this thread, so forgive me if I'm repeating what's already been said by someone else:
1. Billy wouldnt come near us with a barge pole due to us having no money
2. People seem to forget that when Billy was appointed the firs time around, the clubs (ND's) purse strings were loosened to enable us to bring in loan signings that helped secure our safety. There's no money left now - so we have a manager that has to wheel & deal. That isn't Billy's way.
So put your Rose tinted fantasies o the return of WMD away. It ain't happening. End of.

And we can all be much happier. f***ing rubbish Billy was, I like the new level that we've moved on to. It was all down to Nigel and I for one am delighted that he's still our owner. Nigel Doughty's a football genius!
