I'm not saying you're wrong necessarily, but on what basis is it a "game changer"?
Because Forest don’t currently have a proper central midfield „destroyer“, whose tackling ability and energy could then see the whole side playing ten metres further up the pitch, instead of being camped on the edge of their own box.

This guy is a top class midfield player who will fit into our system and improve it with his ball winning, retention, distribution and all round dominance of the opposition. This will mean we will have more possession and also create more opportunities - we will need to convert more - I agree.
BJ scored 8 goals last season in 6 matches (7 at home and 1 away) - he scored important goals against our relegation rivals but never scored against anyone that wasn't a relegation rival and hasn't scored at all since Wolves at home last year - 3 months or 12 games ago. He contributed very little to our end of season run that secured our EFL status.

Edit- I have just re-read that - I know it is harsh but it is reality.

On the other hand, those games were 'must wins' and/or 'six-pointers' so without his goals the end of season run might have come too late.

I don't disagree.
Just happen to think that his form/goals deserted him when we needed them most at the end of the season and our opponents worked out how to nullify him.

I think you guys will keep going round in circles with this as you could argue Sangare you may have got other results which you didn't get (i.e. Bournemouth & Fulham at home)

Personally I agree and said before I think Sangare coming in strengthens the team more than letting Johnson go but it's all's guesswork really till May.

I think the difference could be that; brennans skills are limited to benefitting himself and maybe one other every time he gets the ball ie: he gets the ball runs like f*** and either shoots or passes to the one other person who has kept up with him.
sangare could be the key to having an entire team doing the same thing together…
maybe over simplistic, definitely under playing brennan but hey ho!

For what it's worth a lot of Spurs fans would snap your hand off to sign Sangare as opposed to Johnson, the potential of Sangare is ridiculous and I don't think it will take long to see his impact in the PL

I'm genuinely shocked we're on the verge of bringing him in, make no mistake he has the potential to be incredible. There's a reason he's been on the shortlists of top european teams for the past few years. Hope we stick a £80m release clause on him just to be safe

Yes the hope is that having a 6 who wants to dictate play will allow us at least have the option to switch our play style
