I honestly don’t see both deals being codependent. We’ve been after this guy for weeks. What if PSV accepted our previous offer? He’d be here and BJ also.

Have you ever tried to disturb Rob Dorsett eating his snap? I heard his mum packs him up a right old feast in a wicker picnic basket as she worries he’ll not get the nutrients he needs living the high life in London. He’ll mosey off to the park, throw out his picnic blanket and if anyone comes within 20 yards of him he will glare at them. If they don’t take the hint he’ll start cobbing food about and glare even more.

If dorsett is eating his sandwiches believe me, nobody is going anywhere near him.

Just play sangare and yates in defence / midfield and everyone else further forward. 2-4-4 or something.

Think Mangala and Danilo more at threat of losing their place personally.

If we play a two it has to be Yates and Sangare. If we play a three then Sangare might sit at the base with two of the other three in front. I think Yates gets the nod above both again.

I didn't think the midfielders were underperforming but I suppose it's whether they can pull of what you tell them to do. Statistically they are all awful apart from Danilo, but eye test wise I don't think they are bad.

Either way the midfielders we will have on the bench will be way superior this season.

I'll preach it until the day I die, games are won and lost in midfield. The way we play especially has such an emphasis on the work we do in midfield, a lot of ground to be covered and general out of possession graft. It was inevitable that we'd get well stocked up in that department, we need to have a solid presence in the middle of the park for 100 minutes x 38 games, that's our foundation

All the top teams have that oversized massive bastard playing DM, it's one thing you notice about the Prem compared to other leagues. Sangare certainly fits the bill.
