I'm right behind this type of ambition if a bid has gone in.

He was one I had my fingers crossed we'd go for.

I wouldn’t view 30m as a huge outlay these days (it’ll never be a single payment or likely entirely that up front). Especially as a marquee signing.

It’s a position and role we desperately need to fill to truly progress in my opinion.
It's a huge amount for a club like us though, particularly after last year's transfer splurge.

I'd love for this to happen, but I just don't see us paying that sort of money for anyone this summer personally.

I disagree but that’s where we will differ. We aren’t going to splurge on 30 players. We need 3-4 real improvements, not a couple of back ups. We spent similar on MGW last summer. No doubt it’s ambitious but I think in a similar structuring we could find a middle ground.

Decent STRONG player but oh-so-often a frustrating player for the fans due to his lack of concentration. Sometimes out of nowhere makes a silly mistake that ends up being a goal. but the perfect 'henry the hoover' type and he will impress opponents with his strength and tackle quality. Fans at PSV divided probably 50/50 if we would miss him or not but def. a great asset and would fit in in England if he can handle the speed of the game. Has a transfer clause of 37million for which he can leave. If forest pays that or around that amount he's gone. I'm happy to see him gone. Bit of a 'mehh' kinda player but happy to have seen him with the team for a few years. But i think this summer IS the best time for him to move on. His last season wasn't the best probably resulting in the 'lower' teams wanting him now instead of one of the bigger ones.
Appreciate the opinion… ‘meh player’ feels a bit ridiculous for someone with his stats and ability. Out of interest do you know many Wolves fans?

Sangare paired with Mangala or with Yates in a trio would put some heavy tackles in.

We'd also have way more drive straight through the middle.

If anything, it'll be mangala that will lose out. Yates and Danilo will be the ones.
Action speaks louder than words though, the chances of sangare being a forest player are slim unless aurier is his best mate and wants to play with him.

I've never seen this guy play nor heard his name until ten minutes ago, but I now want us to sign him more than anything else in the world.

Our PSV pal was a bit meh and happy to see him leave so I no longer want him!

Have you got a source my Dutch friend?

yes sir

Its a very good player but he doesnt fit very well in our system
if you play 4-3-3 its a problem

if you play 4-4-2 with 2x6 on the midfield
you can use him very welll

the last time we had any transfer dealings with psv was when we got hans segers as part exchange for when we sold hans van breukelen to them i believe.

I don't trust midfielders from the Dutch league, they always seem to disappoint in the premier league. See (eg) that Van Der Beak lad at Manure.

If we're dropping £30M here then there's a distinct possibility that we're selling someone for serious money. That points towards BJ with Villa being the most realistic destination where we would achieve something remotely close to our value.

I hope I'm wrong but we're already going to be north of £20M on Hendo. Having a combined expenditure of £50M for 2 players whilst still requiring a number of other urgent positions. I just can't see how we would make it work financially for FFP otherwise

Yeah I’m still seeing 100mil+ going out the door on a 4/5 top players.

We generally play a midfield 3 of two B2B midfielders and an CDM/anchor to move the ball around. Our style is fast, counter attacking play; we have lots of players who can carry the ball, play intricate passes when we’re in the opponent half and break lines. More often 3 at the back than 4.

How do you see him in that system?

Many Hans make transfers work.

I can't see it say we've bid €35m anywhere in either article?
