  • Trust in true broadcasters, not ex-athletes

  • Move on from Gary Lineker

  • Show more golf and cricket

  • Bring back A Question of Sport

  • End the moral lectures

1. Bin Lineker
2 . Make motd great again by showing a match rather than a goals round-up
3. Bring back Sportsnight
4. Don't give moral lectures & then go to Qatar for the world cup
5. Stop charging me £160 per year after spunking millions on a new set for Eastenders
6. Stop charging pensioners a license fee

There you go, sorted

All bang on Ed, but I'm particularly impressed you haven't let the World Cup thing go.

Dickie Davies, Frank Bough, Brian Moore, Jimmy Hill, Saint and Greavsie, yes, things were definitely better „back in the day“.

Its not just the Beeb though, Sky has got shit. I used to love gillette soccer saturday with stelling and his mates. You could tell they all liked working with each other and had a great time. Pluse they had more legends of the game. Nowadays the panelists are dull and crap. Simon Thomas is a loveley bloke but its too professional and lost all its warmth. Put it this way it feels like its not made for me nowadays the Beeb and Sky coverage so I just stay away. If thats what they want to do than fair enough but people are just turning off.

Question of Sport was dying anyway but getting rid of Barker, Dawson and Tuffnel just sped it up by 10. Its like the BBC dosent have a clue what a target audience is anymore or what it wants. Instead of all the arguing it will just be easier to stop paying for the Beeb and let people vote with their feet. I have now just drifted to Youtube cause I can find what I want to watch now, instead of beingh forced fed stuff I dont want.

I’m all for diversity, my family is half Asian ffs.

But their agenda against white men is laughable and is totally unacceptable.
Funnily enough out of my group of mates, the one who hates the BBC the most is an Indian kid called Viraj. He moans that it's do-gooders there who force agendas down others throats just help keep hatred alive for people like him and his family, as all people do is end up resenting the people associated with that message.

BBC Sport can't compete against Sky, BT Sport, Amazon Prime etc as it doesn't get the budget to compete.

Yes Linekar is overpaid but he's generally an alright front man. Match of the Day is OK, the format does well enough.

I think once you accept the BBC for what it is: A multi-purpose broadcaster that is meant to be appeal to all without huge budgets then you accept any sports coverage is going to be a bit naff.
