Yeah I agree. Probably be just an extra test on members who don't go/can't get a ticket get lower priority than those who go to all the games.

Actually knowing forest it will work the opposite way. If you're a member and go every game why give you a season ticket, when they make more money selling you the membership and the individual tickets.

If I paid a tenner for the Mrs and she was successful in getting a season ticket in a year or two where would she sit as there's none available near us?
Would she be able to sit in the next block but able to join a list for £10 to have first option when one next to us becomes available 🤔

Most people I know view football as a chance to escape their Mrs for a few hours.

I'm one of those elitist pro-members 😉 so I'm quite happy to be added to the waiting list for free, we've missed 5 games this season, so might stand a chance of a season ticket. I don't think it's fair to charge £10 just to be on a waiting list for the plus and other members. If they do release more season tickets, chances are that pro-members will take them, so what are you paying £10 for? I guess its for the chance to secure them if capacity at the City Ground is increased. I wonder if season ticket prices are going to be hiked up to such an extent that there will be a fair few people who don't renew. Either way, it's unfair to make people pay £10 for thin air.

It would therefore only be right for Forest to announce what that threshold is for supporters now because it's completely unfair and unreasonable to be taking money off some supporters when they know that that they have absolutely no chance of being selected.

I dread to think what the membership and ticket prices are going to be, but them using the ambitions of the team as an excuse will go down well. The amount of extra revenue we'd make is inconsequential from tickets and matchday compared to the TV money.
I certainly don't want to be overpaying the club, for it to piss the money away like it has in a number of cases.
Forest clearly sees me more as a customer than a supporter, so I'll bloody act like one. They can shove their MyForest scarf that they took three months to send out.

You just know this shit is only going to get worse as well.

I know someone that was on the waiting list at Arsenal. One day, he got a call from the club, saying that a ST had become available and did he want it?

There was no chance to think about it. He had to front up £1200 there and then, otherwise it was going to the next person on the list.

How would it work at the end of next season? Do the newer "Pro" members get to push to the front of those who are paying now?

So that we can accurately gauge the number of supporters willing to register a firm interest in obtaining a Season Card, this is why the £10.00 charge per person has been implemented.

Stinks. How about charging £0, and giving them a time limit to commit financially to the order when their turn. Or just charge a quid to remove a load of the chancers

In fact, reading those FAQs reminds me of the PL's answers to PSR questions. Shambles.

Added to my thoughts on Championship versus the Prem is the thought that if we go down, there will be a lot of fans who won't bother to renew, opening the door to lots of us who might want to jump on the bandwagon, hoping to get in, establish a history again, ready for more promotion and, this time, being in pole position for a season card to the Prem.

Who is in charge of data management and who's responsible for mass emailings?

Some heads need banging on some desks for a few minutes - what's happening is amateurish in the extreme and, in respect of the volume of emails being sent out, counterproductive.

If I had any confidence that Forest could adequately maintain a database and allow me to opt out of the marketing crap but stay informed about essential account-management matters, then I would opt out.

I don't, however, believe that Forest have the prowess to do that, despite it being a legal requirement.
