Recent tube strikes have been averted . An impending mayoral election is entirely coincidental!
That said as long as London Overground is working folk should be able to get there combination of buses and trains. A bit inconvenient, mind.
I've just booked a space on Just Park. I try to avoid driving to London but I can't be bothered trying to navigate a route on our hopeless Rail service.

I did not know about that Just Park idea. Just out of interest I tried it in my local area and you can do it cheap in the local supermarket car park.

Brilliant idea, thanks for the heads up.

Close to the ground is very expensive, we've got 25 minute walk but it was only 6 quid.

Spotted one car park very close to the Spurs ground last season - a mere £30.
Pleased I was on the Supporters Coach.

Looks pretty f**ked that Monday night for getting back now. Trains look a complete no go. Supporters coach full… driving to London looks only option? whats everyone doing?

Getting out of Spurs isn't particularly fun at a normal weekend time.

You're only real options now are parking at Enfield (and take the overground north after the game) or park at Stanmore (and walk to seven sisters - about 30 mins walk - after the game to get the Victoria line to take you back into central to then get on Jubilee line)

In both cases you're talking at least an hour before you get anywhere close to being on M1.

Tbf, at least the clubs have worked together to change it due to the rail strikes.
I know it fucks up most people's travel plans. However, at least many can get to the game and back now as the trains are running that day.

Apparently its now happening!

Travel plans all to shit again!!!!
Yep, just announced by the club.

Change it from a day when everything is on strike, to a day when it is impossible to get post-match travel back to Nottingham.

Whoopy-f***ing-do.

TBF - with a 6pm kick off there's plenty of train options back to Nottingham and at a reasonable time too. Even on a Sunday.

Easier than Monday with a 8pm kick off which would be tough although EMR wasn't actually due to be on strikes . However, with the tubes not running , it would make it difficult to get to St Pancras.

That all said, I can see the tube strike being called off. Impending mayoral elections means Khan is incentivised to keep things running. But if it is cancelled decision likely to be last minute - so calling it today both understandable and sensible.

The block behind the goal in Bridgford lower just came available for the Fulham game if anyone's interested. Be quick as I don't expect they'll last long.

Yes it came on yesterday afternoon. I grabbed half dozen tickets for it. For anyone wanting some be advised that it's strictly for nobody under the age of 20 due to the proximity and nature of it being next to the away fans.

the walk from the station - Seven Sisters - took me 35 minutes last season so you've done well.
That was for the Monday mate. I've had to cancel it now the date's changed.
We're on the extremely reliable train service now.
