I want a pack of Toffos now
Honestly, every time I see this thread I immediately think of Toffo's. Which is no bad thing.View attachment 14572
Could be a sweet signing if we get him at a good price.
Sat in the cinema watching a double bill of "La Vallee" and "Perfromance" on a first date with a lovely young lady (later to become a lovely young doctor!!), she offered me a Toffo. Chewing on it, snuggled up, my reliable right hand caressing her left mid inner thigh, I felt a pull on a molar, and a crunchiness of the Toffo, followed almost immediately by excruciating pain. My faithful right hand stuck to its task, while my left clutched at my lower jaw. Yes, the Toffo had pulled a recent filling from my tooth. It made for a memorable first date. And then 50 years later it was an amazing coincidence that another Toffo caused me similar gut-wrenching agony when he tripped and dived in the Forest penalty box at Wembley.Honestly, every time I see this thread I immediately think of Toffo's. What flavour toffo was it Cap'n?Sat in the cinema watching a double bill of "La Vallee" and "Perfromance" on a first date with a lovely young lady (later to become a lovely young doctor!!), she offered me a Toffo. If Toffo -lo does join us, then every time he takes the field, I am likely to feel a reminder of the pains of the past, and a stirring in the nether regions as I recall from long ago the softness of that inner thigh.
Now you are asking! What flavour toffo was it Cap'n?
Forest linked with Colombian winger, Eduardo Chewits. If we're linking new players to retro sweets then can we get someone called Tony Spangles or Keith Jubbly?
Thing is would he want to come and be a back up?Hope this one still happens. He'd be excellent back up.
It wouldn't be framed to him as a back-up role, it would be fighting it out for the LWB position with Richards. Any player joining a prem club should expect to have to battle to earn the shirt. Cooper has also stuck with his next man up mantra, so players will get opportunites.Thing is would he want to come and be a back up?
There may also be times where Richards could be used further upfield, freeing up that LWB spot for Toffolo. It wouldn't be framed to him as a back-up role, it would be fighting it out for the LWB position with Richards. Would he definitely be a back up?Thing is would he want to come and be a back up?
I guess there could be times when one could come on as sub for the other.Would he definitely be a back up?
I think there's enough doubt that you could sell it to him as a chance of being starter.
- Richards hasn't been formally announced yet.
- Neither player has played in the Premier League, although they have good Championship records
- Richards has only played a dozen games with Bayern
7-8m in the prem is third choice money, gotta remember we ain't in the championship anymore. No doubt it gives us options but with Richards being £7-8m I can’t see him being second choice either?
About what Liverpool paid for Robertson.7-8m in the prem is third choice money, gotta remember we ain't in the championship anymore.
