The allegations are really concerning. Won’t assume guilt by any means, but it does make you feel uneasy (especially as I know no details). We just have to hope beyond hope they are false for everyone’s sake.

Yeah, this worries me greatly. Surely we should be steering well clear. At least go for loan with *option* to buy, not obligation.

No, it's not a lot. What I was getting at is that it's not the kind of move a club worried about FFP makes, as there's several other positions we're in much greater need to improve.

It's also a loan short term, would probably only cost his wages in this years accounts that we have saved anyway by players like Lingard & Navas off the wage bill.

Peanuts for someone of his pedigree I would have thought and also as we've resorted to trying to play Aurier as a WB, I'd say a position Cooper most definitely needs.

He's a very good player - technical, good passer, decent defender, can pass. He's not the tallest is my only complaint.

Interesting that he played in a 5 at river plate.

Edit: and nickname 'the animal' suggests he likes the rough stuff too!

I think stylistically he is similar to Rico Henry or someone like that. I haven't watched much of him though and even when I have I haven't really paid attention to him.
