Brighton fan here. One thing that became a feature under Hughton was the long ball pass from defence. I'm sure he had his team practice this because of how many times it occurred - no way would
players keep doing it that, game after game, unless Hughton said it was okay and the accuracy was consistently too high to be speculative punts. He could never be accused of being a route one
manager, it was only once or twice in any game and often caught out the opposition defence. I'm pretty sure that Bong's pass for 1st Murray goal is with the outside of his boot.
