The runs were exactly like last year. It’s all about an understanding and Freuler and Biancone had it tonight for that brief period he was on.

I liked him in pre-season (as someone else said earlier) but tonight he looked like he did on his highlights reel. Getting forward at pace and attempting to find a man at the earliest opportunity.

I want to see him get another chance but don't think Liverpool and/or Arsenal are the matches to throw him into starting.

Not seen him before so no idea what he’s like defensively, but I hope it’s considerably better than the result after charging down the wing.

I’m a big fan. Would like to see him be given a start. Spends a bit too much time adjusting his lunchbox though, for my liking.

I noticed that too. Spent the whole time he was on the pitch fiddling with his cock. Needs a trip to the clap clinic I reckon.

He looked better than Williams but that's not saying much is it. Touch of a ****** for that pass though it was embarrassing. I'd have played a better pass myself.

Difficult when you're getting absolutely no game time whatsoever to just come on suddenly 11 games in. I thought he did alright in his cameo, certainly looked better than Williams and on the night much better than Aurier.

A question out of ignorance: how come this guy hasn't featured much? I remember reading positive comments about him for his preseason performances. A victim of the switch to 4-3-3?

Guess he just hasn’t filled the boss with as much confidence as others yet in their training sessions.
So its hard for us to know how he’d cope with a full game against top wingers and figure out what his best position is. I thought he looked a breath of fresh air when he came on at Brighton as a wingback, very positive, quick. But it wasn’t long enough to assess him properly in a defensive way. Don’t think I see him as a CD. He seems to have a very good attitude around the fringes though. Basically, we’ve no idea yet.

I thought he looked pretty average in pre season to be honest, the 3 games he featured in he looked poor in 1 of them and ok in the other 2. Certainly didn't stand out as someone ready to be a regular feature in the EPL

By all accounts he's a good guy, also seems like an overall positive influence around the squad and Coops seems to be getting him up to speed but I don't see him getting a start ahead of our current RB/CB's any time soon (excluding injuries/suspensions). Not a bad option to have on the bench though, especially since he can cover a couple of positions

When you've signed what seemed like 17 new centrebacks to go with the 3 you already had it's going to be inevitable that some will take time to break into the team, if at all.

At the moment, that's where he is.
