I don't have sky so couldn't watch the last day saga unfold...pretty unedifying stuff for us...Fawaz's message probably sums it up...but what of Geddy? did he miss out or has he gone...either way what do people think ? Its a sad loss that leaves usmuch weaker and a tough gap to fill...thoughts on who and how to do that?

Well there was definitely footage of him arriving to complete the deal with palace on ssn.

I don't buy into the Camp was sulking crap (he had a loss of form and an obvious loss of confidence) and I'm sure AG's team mates would all take the opportunity to at least double their salary and move up a division.

He's a very good player and if it fell through would continue to be a very good player. It sounds to me as if certain fans would be the ones doing the sulking!!

Did they get anybody in to bolster their squad ahead of their Johnston's Paint campaign? Happy memories for Wolves. Bull & Mutch won it for them back in their glory days. Back then it was called 'Leyland Daf' or 'Sherpa Van'. Wolves are back, Wolves are back. Oohh-ooo. Ohhh-oooo.

The deal has not yet been announced by any formal news outlet, so I am starting to wonder if it has fallen through.

All we seem to have is some footage on Sky and a load of stuff being posted on Twitter.

When and where was it ever mentioned??? I watched SSN most of last night and never saw him at there ground or even mentioned, was not mentioned when they spoke to Holloway on the phoneoe reporters outside their ground and never even linked to let alone rumoured to be at the ground or even bid for on any palace site or palace rumour site?

The Moose on talksport has listed all of Palace's signings and Gued isn't one of them.

It was happening though as there were pictures of him at their training ground very close to 23:00.

where were these pictures show? they were not on sky and never mentioned on sky?

Yes you would. 75 minutes against Barnsley he would be forgiven just as quickly as he was written off yesterday.

Besides, why should we blame him? A job in the top flight came calling, his agent probably turned his head.

It looks like he is staying , so since everyone thought he had gone perhaps its like having a new signing . Hope he starts against Barnsley and that everyone gives him a great reception. You can't blame any player if they get a sniff of premier league football, even if with Palace it might only be for a few months .

all 12 fingers crossed that this fell through. can't see why anyone should have a problem with him if he stays (for the meantime probably) - it's not like he's professed himself a lifelong forest fan then run off to the sheep ...

In my opinion, there's no chance that Billy would play him if he came back. It's just not his style. Gueds would just have to mooch around until the January window.

We are entitled to our opinions, I for one am very disappointed in him if this was his doing or wishes. This based on his comments about commitment not so long ago. Offer from an established prem team then i understand, but palace! Few months of prem football them they will be bellow us again. All this said, I still await the full explanation before judgment
