It was weird when we signed Yuri , a length of contract was never given.

So we backing these 2 in our initial year(s) in the Prem by the looks of things then.

A bit disappointed with the length of the deal personally.

Window is heating up...been pretty good so far.

Really impressed with how the club is conducting itself. Some very smart business being done.

Even prouder than usual to be a Red.

Might have been able to offer a smaller wage over 2.5 years than 1.5, given he was out of contract in summer and could have waited for any number of offers that he'd have received for 12 months contract.

Anyway, if he's crap, we'll just sell him on in 6 months time for £500k. It's what we do.

Promotion winner, Brighton's first choice left back for most of his time there and an international too. A smart signing and pleasing that we moved so quickly to replace Chema.

Aye. The overall cost is what's important. If we had to offer an extra year to get him so be it.

Also has Champions League experience.
Hardly played all season so should be fresh once hes match fit.
Round peg for a round hole if needed.
Good work Forest.

We do seem to favour lesser wages over a longer period. Then probably back ourselves to move them on at the end of their deal if they don't contribute.

Can't help but thinking that we are doing a good job of back filling next season's bomb squad

A lot of people said that about our summer signings to be fair. Loans and Adomah aside, they all turned out quite well.

This gets assumed a lot but is there any real evidence that this is the case?

The kind of player we've been missing since we sold Steve Stoner and Scott Doobie.
