That could be another example, of course.

Presumably using an alias through a third-party identity provider, such as „Sign in with Apple“, where Apple creates a (bogus) alias address to hide your real address and then forwards any mail from the alias to your real address, so it cannot be then harvested and spammed (or disclosed by careless organisations who cannot secure their data).

Basically that! As it happens just + aliasing on Outlook.com in this case as there are 2 ticketing accounts I want linked to 1 email address.

Maybe not the OS but the official socials stay busy with pre match and match updates. Report on the match is the headline currently on OS.

It boils my piss that Forest have a legitimate web site ith news, team details etc, and yet its upkeep and maintenance seems to be subject to no rhyme or reason.
Meanwhile they flood social media with snippets and tit-bits...
As someone who only goes onto social media (excluding this forum) as a last resort, it means I don't see most of the Club's utterances .
Surely there is a cost saving to be had by laying off half the "social media" team, and putting the rest to good use by keeping the content on the OS bang up to date.
If that was done maybe advertisers would be prepared to add to the club's commercial revenue, knowing he site was the main go to resource for fans.
But what do I know about the economics of such things.
I usually leave it to the fog-knitters and dream weavers in Marketing to sort that stuff.

It’s 2023 Grandad, social media is the way the majority consume their information nowadays!

That said: it is not beyond the realms of possibility (hell, there is an API for most of them) that allow content posted to a web server (either directly, or via some sort of content delivery system) and then have those same stories posted automagically so social media platforms such as X/Twitter, Instagram and Facebook.

It actually saves a publishing team time, as it’s a case of you make one „post“ and the same content can then be replicated elsewhere, to different platforms.

Of course, this depends on the platform Forest are using; knowing their typical cack-handed approach, they’re probably still using Microsoft Frontpage from Office 95.

I’m with you Captain apart from LTLF, Twitter, X, Facebook, MySpace, Instagram, Telegram, MSM, and a couple of other social media outlets I don’t use social media .

I’ve never used any other social media, only LTLF even in a work capacity I refused, each to their own but I find social media or parts of it very divisive.
