Scotland have had 19% possession so far.

Guess McKenna is used to it

Elanga played the second half for Sweden

McKenna played the full 90 for Scotland.

We’d have gone if we knew it was on - not sure how we missed it or if it wasn’t advertised well?

Sat in the away end for the novelty, seat was basically broken when I'd sat down which was a nice start.
Decent game although England 21s probably should have had at least 11-12.
Value for money.

Not sure who managed to shit everywhere but the toilet in the Lower Bridgeford, but the only thing worse in there was "SUFC - DRINK YOUR BEER AND SHAG YOUR WOMEN" sticker that someone had stuck on one of the cubicles. Nearly made me vom my Chicken Balti back up, more than the smell next door.

Also, if you bring a drum to a football stadium, I hope you stand on a plug. Between that and all the kids blowing horns for 2 hours, my ear drums feel assaulted.

TURN UP THE LIGHTS IN HERE BABY

Yes, I get it was an event aimed at families but I hope to God club football never ends up like that.

That said, England were an absolute pleasure to watch, albeit against a poor Serbia side. We have some incredible talent coming through in this country- I can't help but think that St George's Park has played a huge role in nurturing it. The age group sides coming through now know no different.

14,000 crowd was a bit of an insult to some of the talent on display.
Forest were shockingly poor at promoting this, considering how cheap the tickets were.
Great value for money even if I did have the damn drum seemingly right above me.

Echo the sentiments above. We've got some real players coming through.
I was far more impressed with Hayden Hackney than I thought I would be to be honest. He was excellent from start to finish.
If we are interested in him, we certainly won't be the only ones.

Shefield's Rockabilly, probably.

It was was promoted on the website twice I think then it briefly flashed up on the big screen at the Burnley and Brentford game.

The marketing of it was a bit of a disgrace, I agree. Presumably the club doesn't get much/anything by way of ticket sales so there wasn't the imperative to sell them? It's a shame MGW is too old to play for them now as that would have drawn a crowd by itself.

I just checked my Inbox, I got one email from Forest that mentioned the game, but it was tucked away under another bunch of marketing crap.

I seem to recall a few years ago, watching Japan v Mexico U-21 at the WFCG, and there was much more of a campaign advertising that match, than the recent England one.

Pretty pissed off about it this morning - would have been nice to break up the 3 weeks between games at the WFCG. Once we saw on here it was on, me and the lad watched it last night, but one of the first questions he asked was couldn’t you get tickets! There’s not many chances to see an eng team at the WFCG!

Very long time reader first time poster so excuse cock ups. Anyone remember a England u-23 game at the City Ground I think it was against Czechoslavakia, Martin Chivers scored for England in a 1-0 win. I don't think there were tournaments for this age group back then so it was probably a friendly. The only other thing I can remember about the game was Barry Lyons was on the bench. I don't recall him getting on. Anyone else remember this?

The best thing is you can see how much fun they are all having. It looked like MGC v Dominguez they were both trying not to laugh.

Japan killed us. It could have been 8 or 9. Laryea was not good again, though compared to our back three and midfield trio he was probably better than any of them. All six of them were poor, some terrible. Not a fun watch. Alphonso Davies continues to play shitty for Canada.

Was my man Wataru Endo playing for the Samurai Blue?

Yep he had little to do, but played quite well. Japan, on their day, could beat anyone. A very coached side, great energy, very committed side, good technically.
I love watching Japan, such a fantastic technical side.

It helps that VfB old-boy Endo-San is their Captain (a player I absolutely loved watching) and current VfB-er Hiroki Ito (another player I love) is in and around the squad.
