Technically the player belongs to another agency (although this does not necessarily mean much as far for Mendes), and I've seen no business done with Mendes for a while, at either EM club. I doubt he's involved.

A bit of both I reckon. I think Sangare is probably still the clubs preferred target, but feel that it is probably best not to put all our eggs in that one particular basket and Syrianos may have highlighted this chap as a fall back option.

Possibly. I reckon that one will probably go to the wire, as he is probably holding out for a bigger club coming in closer to deadline day (for example, Liverpool if they continue to struggle in the transfer market might consider him).

As Wataru Endo is possibly one of the best pure defensive midfielders in the Bundesliga, and as the scousers already have Alexis Mac Allister (who can also play that role) I would say that is a very large „Yes“.

An alternate way of looking at it is we can be a little patient given away to Manure isn't a game we're targeting a result, per se, so there shouldn't be a desperate rush to do something.
