AT THE MOMENT (and I stress that bit) I'm seeing us without a win from the first five games with 2 more draws and a loss - initial signs are ok but AT THE MOMENT that's what I see.

We have no idea how Lamouchi would be if that comes to pass. Cool headed or getting agitated? 3pts from 15 is pressure for any manager / coach.


Not all the new signings will make the grade. That just doesn't happen, usually the majority fail to meet expectations.

A couple or three fitness problems and we will be facing a team struggling to stay above league average.



AT THE MOMENT I'm saying 13th. Lamouchi impressed me in some ways v Leeds and I'm not saying a middle table finish would be all his fault or that he should lose his job through it. I just feel at the moment that there's a few important things that will be beyond his control.


A confident win today would start to nullify this, but that remains to be seen.

Top 2 most of the season, dropping down to 3rd in last few games.

Ribeiro wins player of the season, changes his name to Psicopata, gets a tattoo of the main stand car park on his back, then it turns out we only loaned him rather than signed him permanently and he returns to benfica a day before the playoffs.

Due to injuries, we have to start a goalkeeper at left back and we crash out in the semis against Wednesday.

Consensus following the game is that it was Benny Osborn's fault.

Given how light we are upfront, it depends a lot of the fitness and form of Grabban and Mir.

If they stay fit and firing, I reckon we'll finish in the top 6. If anything happens to them, we'll be finishing between 12th to 15th

I obviously keep forgetting that many Championship teams aren't as good as we (or they) think they are!


Well chuffed for Dawson with his goal - he deserves that for how he holds the defence together. Of course, he's no 'future prospect' but right here, right now, he's worth his weight in gold.
