Depressing prospect. Even before considering we’re not run anywhere near as well. The best we can wish for is to become a Brighton.

Trevor died at 6923 years from now, I’ll only be 66. If I die before I’m 69 I’d be very disappointed.
At 69 is not ‘before 69’.Trevor died at 69
Beer contains nearly twice as many antioxidants as white wine. And I know you like a beer or 10.23 years from now, I’ll only be 66. If I die before I’m 69 I’d be very disappointed.
I’vs seen some on this forum call Crystal Palace a boring club who never achieve anything.I have a mate - who is a Leicester fan ( I know).
If you think that after they won the f***ing PREMIER LEAGUE they sold Kante & Mahrez ( which is depressing in itself).
They then went on to sell Maguire, Fofana, Madison & Barnes plus more for HUGE money & they're still in the shit.
Yes I know they have a high wage bill but this is a team that won the PL & FA Cup, sold their best best players year after year and STILL breached PSR. Because they're not top 6.
What chance have any club out of the top 6 realistically got?
I'll answer that myself.
f*** ALL
The best we can wish for is to become a Brighton.
That’s good, it was £30m the other dayJamie Martin is the latest to interview Kieran Maguire, it looks like we'll need to raise over £20 million before July 31st (clubs can get an extension beyond june) to he within PSR this year. I'm not sure whether that includes the Mangala money or not.
It's an interesting interview, he talks about shirt sponsorship deals, clubs knowing we needed to sell Player A so submitting low offers.
I wish someone like Kieran could have input in drawing up new rules, he's a proper fan who knows his sheeeet
Kieran Maguire talks about the tourist side of football. Apparently Spurs get an average of £71 per seat at their new stadium - a large part of this is down to tourist fans buying shirts etc. He also said that the year Leicester won the title, the TV companies made less money. It is in Sky and TNT's interest to keep the status quo with the big 6.Or get the rules changed. Not fit for purpose as they are, protect the 6 tourist clubs and bollox to every other club in the country.
I think that figure may have been a result of my brain over heating. It cannae take no more captainThat’s good, it was £30m the other day
I’d wager UEFA weren’t too keen on Leicester being in the Champions League also.Kieran Maguire talks about the tourist side of football. Yep, because with all respect to Leicester * they really would not be an attraction at all on the European stage, because they have no real history or pedigree in European club competitions, and Leicester as a destination is hardly going to set fans of „Champions League“ regulars racing, is it?I’d wager UEFA weren’t too keen on Leicester being in the Champions League also.
We can beat Leicester on that front. We do seem to have plenty of overseas fans and Nottingham is much better known. It's imperative we hang in there this season.Yep, because with all respect to Leicester * they really would not be an attraction at all on the European stage, because they have no real history or pedigree in European club competitions, and Leicester as a destination is hardly going to set fans of „Champions League“ regulars racing, is it?
Less attractive fixture, less advertising revenue for the TV companies, less revenue for UEFA coffers.
( * nah, f*** ‚em!)
Exactly,UEFA-a self serving cancer in the game in my view (nearly as bad as Sky TV).Yep, because with all respect to Leicester * they really would not be an attraction at all on the European stage, because they have no real history or pedigree in European club competitions, and Leicester as a destination is hardly going to set fans of „Champions League“ regulars racing, is it?

Unless we move to Toton, you can wave goodbye to a lot of the history and mystique around the club..We can beat Leicester on that front. We do seem to have plenty of overseas fans and Nottingham is much better known. It's imperative we hang in there this season.

I’ve probably been pretty vocal in moving on from both.Ha, tbf though mate, that's entirely the point I'm making.
Billy's a great example, as Coops will be. Until other people mimic or better their success, then the bench mark will always be there (how many times do people still compare stuff to Clough and his days?)
Posters expecting other posters to get over stuff like Coops & this FFP scenario within a few days are deluded. But, even if everyone genuinely could, the FFP situation will stoke the fires in the media and other clubs to the point that it aint going anywhere soon regardless.
If they have been allowed to and we can prove that, then it is a case to appeal. The rules should apply to everyone, or not at all.Covid Allowances and Promotion bonuses, are the reasons why we submit a appeal. Fulham and Bournemouth both claimed 20m promotion bonuses in the EFL the same as us. Without this exclusion all 3 clubs would have breached by 10-15m in the EFL. Be very interesting to see if Fulham and Bournemouth were allowed to exclude these bonuses.
Id be 66 too. Only another decade or so and I’ll hit retirement age.23 years from now, I’ll only be 66. If I die before I’m 69 I’d be very disappointed.
We can't even count loan players correctly though mate, so hoping for something like this is like hoping Marinakis actually sacks problem staff at the club instead of good onesI think we should accept the penalty but put the EPL on notice that if we find that other clubs have been treated differently to us over the period PSR has been in existence we will raise a legal challenge against all charges.
And then dig like hell to find even one case of promotion bonus being excluded from the PSR loss calculation for any other promoted clubs, or where Covid losses claimed for are false and the EPL have failed in their duty of care to other clubs by not having effective oversight in place. We should then challenge the way the rules have been applied detrimentally to some clubs (us) in comparison to others as a failure of governance creating an anti-competitive position around the application of PSR.
I think we should do that and appeal RR.I think we should accept the penalty but put the EPL on notice that if we find that other clubs have been treated differently to us over the period PSR has been in existence we will raise a legal challenge against all charges.
