He has visibly lost a lot of weight very quickly.
He's on hunger strike until we keep a clean sheet in the league

I remember seeing him enter the training building on Deadline Day and thought he looked slimmer but convinced myself otherwise because the photos of him sitting down at the next game didn't seem too different.

Are we still allowed to call him the Big Man? 😥

Dear Mr. Marinakis,

Mr. Vrentzos has made you look amateur and put your considerable investment at risk. I'm sure he's a pleasant enough chap to share a social occasion with, but he's clearly unsuitable to run a top flight English football club.

Despite his talk of good governance, I suggest Mr. Randall has also fallen well below an acceptable level of performance.

Regards.

Careful mate. Vrentzos has a lot of fans on here prepared to defend him to the hilt 😆

I hope you're not referring to me. I thought I've made it abundantly clear that I wouldn't trust Vrentzos with football decisions in a kids' amateur league, let alone a major Premier club.

That being said, Vrentzos has been out of the picture since the summer of 2021, that is for two out of the three seasons you were assessed for ffp violations, so he cannot be used as a scapegoat. EM is the ultimate decision maker of the club, there's no reason to blame others.

Certainly not GBG. I was referring to the handful of posters who were up in arms at any criticism I lay at Vrentzos doors years ago

You know, right before we sacked him off, employed Murphy and got promoted. I'm referring to the posters who thought I was evil for wanting that to happen lol.

Some of them are the same who now think I'm evil now for wanting Marinakis to revert to a more professional setup as we had previously under Murphs, where Marinakis' close connections leave footballing decisions and signings to the professionals.

Just caught up with the matchday pass. Good to see the big man down in the tunnel to greet the players and boss as they came off the pitch.

I saw that and thought it was great to see an owner who cares and is passionate, as long as he's not waiting for them after a defeat. Don't really like the idea of an owner laying into the players in the dressing room after a defeat - no evidence that he's done this and its his club, so he can do what he wants but I think he needs to take a step back in some areas of the club.

Wasn't he listed as an active director in the latest CH accounts? Seem to remember seeing his name in there.

He just waits until the end of season Teams meeting to tell the players and coaching staff they're as useful as toilet paper, instead.

This tunnel cam video is quite interesting. I think we can decipher that he's fond of Danilo and MGW, and that Sangare is possibly on the naughty cushion.

I like this. It seems to mean a lot to the players and owners, which has been called into question recently. Definitely a family type feeling there coming through.
I don't think there's any doubt that EM and MM want the best for their clubs. They are football people and clearly care.

Whether we just got lucky with DM and SC in that summer no-one would really know - we weren't too far off under SL before covid and then Hughton ruined it of course. So we were already moving in the right direction and in reality statement signings like Sangare and last year Lingard do go some way to setting markers for ambition which makes the club more attractive to get others. But the team should always be picked on merit and not because the owner's son signed the player as a marquee signing to look good.

And if the passion / desire is there, but the overall ability to manage the club is not, then they should absolutely employ people who are capable of doing this, and leave them to it.
