One of the only two verified followers of their Twitter account is the owner of Panathinaikos, and the whole style of their 'journalism' (not to mention their content) is spectacularly similar to the style of a sports site that the same owner has set up a decade ago; the site is owned by the owner of PAOK (as I've mentioned more than once, the less you know about Greek football the better).

I am 85% certain I have found the person behind the website. They are still promoting campaigns BTW despite their twitter account getting suspended. If you google stuff like Steve Cooper, it's the main link.

Why they are doing it, and why they are putting so much money into it god knows - but it's a Greek dentist working at a London NHS Trust who is an AEK fan that is doing the work for it.

If I can find that out in 10 minutes of looking then I am sure actual professionals will be able to find him sharpish.

Love the detective work Found it amusing to see 99% of the likes on the tweets all contained a shamrock - obviously Panathinakos fans because as far as i'm aware the Big Man is well received here in Ireland

Seriously though, unflattering cartoon aside, someone should do one of those websites for every owner and investor in the premier league. EM is hardly football's biggest problem.

Maybe? The rumour is very vague which makes it even more likely to be untrue.

He couldn’t sell a majority stake in NFFC to PIF as they can’t own two clubs in the prem (or the same European competition)
