This is a terrific book for anyone with an interest in the Stasi's. Can't recommend it highly enough.

I’ve heard of Run Lola Run , I’m thinking perhaps the book was recommended to me around the time I was told to watch “The lives of others” that would have been 10 years ago.Although if you want to watch one of the best films to ever come out of Germany, then Lola Rennt, or, in English, Run Lola Run is eighty minutes of cinematic perfection, set around Berlin.
I don’t think it was a book, although there may have been a novelisation of the film; it’s an experimental arthouse movie from 1998, written and directed by Tom Tykwer.I’ve heard of Run Lola Run , I’m thinking perhaps the book was recommended to me around the time I was told to watch “The lives of others” that would have been 10 years ago.

And yes, it’s in German, but there are subtitles.
Oh and Franke Potente stars in it. Oh yes.

If you have tickets you know longer want there will probably be more opportunities to re sell them on the UEFA website.I managed to get some tickets through the ballot originally and then again today in the resale....the pricing is terrible but as expected.
To fund the tickets we got today we are considering selling our tickets for the last 16 match, No 41, in Frankfurt, which is likely to be Portugal v Another. Can anyone recommend the best way to sell them? Never resold tickets before and would rather not get scammed. cheers
I quite fancy the „Away“ one, merely as no doubt in June, the locals will be walking around in German colours, so I‘ll have to keep up the British end, as it were.Anyone on here daft enough to buy a new England shirt at those prices?
Maybes a little black tache on the sleevesAdidas - we need to top the publicity nike got from pratting about with the flag on the england top.
Hold my beer whilst I have a play with the germany shirt…….yep that should do it!

No 44. You're on the list.Adidas stops sales of number 44 jerseys over Nazi likeness – DW – 04/01/2024
The design of the number 44 German national team jersey looks similar to the logo of the Nazi Schutzstaffel (SS). The similarity has set off controversy and finger-pointing. Jersey number 4 will also get a redesign.www.dw.com
