I thought bringing him back was a shit idea a couple weeks ago but you know what, considering what Nuno has done for some of the other lads, I actually think he could make sense of Dennis.

Dennis has come in with a pretty big fee, off the back of a good season for Watford and while he was pretty poor last year, in some games he showed he did have some talent.

If the club isn't going to go all out for a forward in January, which I think given Wood's form and Awoniyi's pending return they won't, I'd actually take Dennis back and f*** Origi off.
I think I’d take Dennis back and see if Nuno can get a tune out of him.

He was a great outlet on the left at home to wolves. Then Taiwo came back and the rest is history. As others have said I’d like to sort the keeper situation but if we can give him a chance rather than spunking a load more cash on a winger then I’d happily let nuno give him a go.

He is better than Origi, though that's not saying much is it? It's a no from me, wouldn't want him back.

I'm not against giving Dennis a shot under Nuno, some players find themselves under different managers
Spot on.

He is an asset the club have already who may well have struggled in the setup and system last year. A lot of the time we were completely backs against the wall relying on moments of individual skill to win games. As we have seen so far under Nuno we seem to have more structure and more about us going forward as a team to feed the forwards.

Why would we not expect Nuno to take a look given we have a couple of weeks in training

Can't Play Left-Back
From what I saw of him last season he had no footballing brain, didn't appear to be coachable and didn't work particularly hard. Cooper didn't even trust him (a forward) to take a penalty against Wolves yet had Worrall and Colback taking them, which shows how little trust he must have had in him. However, there is some talent there (the goal against Newcastle was sublime). If we're chasing a game with 10 minutes to go, I'd rather be bringing him on than Origi. Maybe Nuno will see something in him, I doubt it though.

For me it's worth Nuno taking a look because he currently has zero value and still has 2.5 years left.

If nothing else getting prem games here and there puts him in the window; his Turkey loan won't have done him any favours there.

It would be good for club and player if we could get something out of him in the coming months, though I'm not sure what his injury status is.

I mean if he hasn't cooked it by now I'd probably give it a swerve

We will likely need 2 wingers, it's not perfect but I wouldn't be against it and really what have we got to lose.
For a sub its okay to tie us over till the end of the season. Howevber its imperative we get 2 wingers in, in January for backup to CHO and Elanga.

£20M sounds too high but it seems a strange system that to sell an asset and bring money into the club could put you into a worse FFP position.

Considering we signed him for around £20m, I'd say so!
Think it was £10m wasn't it?

Getting him off wage bill will save a bit too.

Worth doing if £5m was put on table.

Snap your hands off for 5m tbh. Nuno might be able to get a tune from him, but this squad needs thinning and if Marinakis wants trophies Dennis is miles off the mark for that.

Plus there's the obvious FFP consideration. Pretty much any player outside the squad which we can get a respectable fee for now we should unless Nuno is inststant he can work some magic with them.
