Looked good today when he came on, had the Premier league nous.

I thought he did too.

My only concern is he looks very similar to Brennan in that hes quick and skilful and wants to run at defenders with the ball (granted with a bit more beef on him).
We seem to have a forward line that's entirely composed of players that want to run at the goal, ideally with a bit of space in front of them alongside 2 very skilful lads in Lingard and MGW. That seems to be the case with Taiwo in the little bits we've seen of him, its certainly the case with Brennan and although Surrige is a little different hes got next to no strength back to goal.

Although we've bought forward players at the right age and with room for improvement I do think we are a little unbalanced and could have done with a tough strong number 9 as well...

He will frustrate but he will score goals. He is a constant threat and with more space infront of him he will be more dangerous.

Looked lively today, strong and powerful which is what we needed. I liked the fact he cut in and had a shot, we tried too hard to walk the ball on today and he wasn't willing to do that which isn't a bad thing when chasing the game and struggling to break down a resilient defence.

I can see why Watford fans said he was lazy as he just has that languid style about him. I think that's just how he is though rather than am attitude issue. He'll definitely provide some threat that we're in need of.

I just hope at least one of him, Surridge and Awoniyi can start slipping it in the net regularly. We really need a focal man to start converting dominance into penetration.

The handball was really unfortunate as the ball bounced and reared up at lightning speed.
Making subs with less than 15 minutes to go is really only good when you are winning and running down the clock.
When not winning, subs should be made no later than 60 minutes.
It is a waste of a sub to delay much after 60 mins when you are drawing or losing.

Exactly this, and it was always going to be the danger of signing so many players. Those who come in are going to have zero match sharpness.

I’m not writing the lad off at all but when you see your teammates busting a gut to get back in the game it’s not a great look to appear so casual.
