I tweeted that this morning. He'll be nervous as to what she'll be exposing about him in there, his head won't be fully in the game.

Surely there isn't anything left to say? She's climbed her way up the z-list greasy pole with Rooney stories. I can't imagine she's been holding anything back.

Phil Jones was outstanding. Glad Wilshere got a mention, too. He was excellent going forward. This is a genuinely exciting young squad, with the talent to go deep into this tournament.

I thought Phil Jones started off really poorly and then got better as the game went along and ended up having a decent game.
Smalling on the other hand is a liability, and hopefully there will be no need for him to be anywhere near the first team in the actual tournament.

My worry with Jones is that he hasn't developed the patience to play Centre Half. Too often he goes up to confront a forward head on and is turned or the ball slipped past.

I don't think Jones has been helped by the Man Utd staff as he plays in a different position every week. If he was locked down at CB for a year or two he would progress loads. He'll be very, very good when he's 25

You are right with that, but its probably because he never seems to settle in one position. It will be a worry if he has to come in to the starting line up.

Centre back is an odd one for England. Cahill's strong, but Jagielka has always been a little ropey and prone to making mistakes at the worst time, Smalling just looks totally out of his depth every time he steps onto a footbal field and Jones has become a utility player.

It will be very interesting to see if any of the 3 really step up their game. Jagielka I always think gets picked by default of their not being another really good CB to go with Cahill.

I think his young Everton Partner John Stones will be in his place come Euro 2016.......

It's the first England team in living memory where the defence is the weak link.
