Ummm, I've been in the garden all afternoon burning stuff. This is a bad dream brought on by fumes or something right? Right?

Can't do much worse, we were losing games pretty much every week anyway

If he brings his stats with him we'll lose the next 6.

This was always the problem with appointing a club legend like Pearce. The guy following him inevitably cops all the anger and disappointment of the broken dream.

Let's hope Dougie isn't reading these comments. Fans are acting like spoilt children- unbelievable. I'd love to hear the names of managers that fans think we ought to be attracting.

I actually like Freedman. Good luck to him.

I stayed behind at Selhurst a couple of seasons ago on the last day once Forest had left and Palace did a lap of honour. Freedman applauded the Forest fans and he got the same back. I quite liked him when he was playing at Forest too, but he was there at at a bad time. There with Shipperley with no hope of keeping us in the Premier League after losing van Hooijdonk and Campbell. He scored against Derby. My favourite was the one he scored at Blackburn when we sent them down.

But I'm still sickened. When would talks with him have to have started for an announcement this early? Surely the players putting in a terrible performance on Saturday knew? I understand that is football now. But football now is also shit in many ways. A man who has served our club with a loyalty way above and beyond what can reasonably expected has been shafted a bit. And some of our fans' loyalty to him ran out after two months of his first season as permanent manager.

What about his goal in the 2-2 draw with Villa. An absolute cracker.

Is there any point caring any more??

Pathetic appoinment, christ the Bolton fans did firework celebrations when he was sacked earlier in the season, had them playing the worst football imaginable ffs, had them in the bottom 3, it cant get any worse than this tbh.

sad times :(

Any gloating Direby fans can f*** off as well.

Thank God. Light at the end of the tunnel. Pearce will not be a manager again.

Feel much more confident with DF in charge TBH

He had my full support. Hope all the whiners, stuck in the past, just get over it.

I'm very surprised. Let's hope it's a correct move - I am assuming this is Fawaz' wildcard.

I'll be behind him though - we have to be as he's in charge now. Let's let his results do the talking.

Even after Cotterill this would be a disappointment.

Of course, some of us are underwhelmed. But us 'happy clappers', (what kno*-head said that?), will give him and his team as much support as possible and home and away. Some on here won't. Luckily many won't get as far as the City Ground so their booing won't be heard. I damn well hope he's successful; it's what everyone wanted wasn't it?

Where's me hammer?
If you can't DM me and I will buy it if it's going at a discounted rate. I've had to wait till payday to get one was going to go fetch it in the morning, if you need rid anyway and there's a deal to be had, let me know!

I wont be making the point in returning it to the club in selling it on will i?

Spoilt children?

We had a manager who was trying to rebuild a club that was a complete and utter car-crash.

And that manager was a bona-fide Forest legend.

And our owner has simply shat on him from a great height and immediately appointed a new manager who, as results show, is actually a worse manager than Stuart Pearce?

If Dougie is reading this, then I sincerely hope he has some comprehension of the job he's taken on. Good luck Dougie, you're going to f***ing need it.
