There is no empty end. They get 30k every home game. Not a spare seat left in the ground.O
Or the cold draft from the empty end

Sorry, that was 07 Miller. 08 Miller only scored once, against Blackburn in a 3-1 loss.08 Miller banged in two goals in the first two home games, first one voted goal of season, mostly because they barely scored anymore in the other 36 games
But that was when Blackburn were champions wasn't it? Sutton and Shearer? Tim Flowers? KING Kenny? Derby would have never have lost to them without that lot?Sorry, that was 07 Miller. 08 Miller only scored once, against Blackburn in a 3-1 loss.
Think they'd just signed Ibrahimovic and Ronaldo. Casillas in goal too iirc. But that was when Blackburn were champions wasn't it? Sutton and Shearer? Tim Flowers? KING Kenny? Derby would have never have lost them without that lot?
Surely?

If players are choosing to play for the likes of Notts County (McGoldrick), Oxford United (Rodrigues) and Charlton (May) over you, then I'd have thought the answer is pretty obvious.
Still?

Read that thread and the general concensus seems to be that they are a prem club.....

I must admit I spend every other morning just browsing their forum (not in our thread, that's gone quiet for some reason...). Sad or not, I sit there smirking at it with my feet up.
The glory of them bickering about whether to open more than 2 stands for Forsyth's testimonial v Stoke or about how much compensation they will get for Knight when he runs down his contract and leaves for Hull.
It will never ever get old, all the crap they gave us over the years and the perfect storm came from it. Them languishing in League One and us literally living the dream they always wanted under Mel. It really is all so marvelous.
Just the transfer thread alone is worth reading, they are looking at the retain list from Peterborough for potential players.

The good thing is that there’s zero evidence that it’s happening anytime soon.Football is cyclical.
We're having a nice time at the moment but don't get too cocky because sooner or later Derby will be the top dogs in the East Midlands again.
It might look like that scenario is a generation away at the moment but things change quickly in football. Doubt you'd have found any Forest or Leicester fans who'd have believed you you'd said Forest and Leicester would have swapped divisions within 2 years immediately after their FA cup win, when Forest had just avoided the drop from the Championship and not won in 6 at the tail end of that season.
All the more reason to laugh at the f***ers.Football is cyclical.

It's why Brentford need to stay in their lane.Football is cyclical.

Yep. They are having their day in the sun just like Wigan, Swansea and numerous other clubs of similar and smaller sizes did. But it won't last forever, and people will be quick to remind their fans of their attitude right now when the inevitable downturn in fortunes happens. It's why Brentford need to stay in their lane.

I don't think they even got complacent, they still had great players one of which the media proclaimed was the guy England needed to win the world cup. They just made some bad signings, gave very high contracts and no longer had the money to improve thingsThe good thing is that there’s zero evidence that it’s happening anytime soon.
You’re dead right though as soon as we get complacent ( like Leicester) you’ll get your bottom spanked.
