Does anyone remember League 1 Derby County? (STILL the worst team in history!)

As a statement we should let this thread go now. When we stop caring they really will have nothing left but each others misery. Archive the whole thing or delete it.

Were getting there lads, in 3 weeks weve gone from being relegated with less that 11 points to this:

Getting this in early but if they stay up (God forbid) it’s because it’s not a normal season. There’s a massive break in November and December because of the World Cup

:ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:
What is it only for us? Or does the Forest conspiracy reach so far back that a special world cup was organised especially to give us some respite before charging on to conquer the footballing world ALL so it would piss off Derby fans ..

We should only let it go when they have paid the taxman all of what they owe. why has that gone quiet: as it is a debt to a government agency, funded by taxes paid by the public, there should be a full, frank and complete write up of any arrangement,. The dirty sheep should be banned from participating in any league until the debt is cleared. Come on HMRC: take these bastards down if you cannot get the money.

I was thinking exactly that - they should now merit a thread only when we play them.... so basically never

Ah yes that 3/4 week break that only Forest get and noone else...
The excuses will shift as the season goes Id imagine.

3 weeks ago: They'll be relegated and break our record

Today: IF they stay up......

1 month in: They might survive but they'll finish below Leicester

Xmas: Look at them getting all excited beating Man Utd, everyone beats them, Paulo Wanchope did it better.

May: Silence, thread deleted.

Yeah, but f*** em'. Like my first wife, a dim light still burned but the fact is we just grew apart.

The writer pens a point of view with logical, cogent arguments.
Well, anyway, onto better times...
Half of it doesn't make any sense, a quarter is incorrect and the other quarter is pure delusion.

He would rather be in League One with an owner they know nothing about apart from he said don't take out a 42% APR loan? If that isn't stockholm syndrome, I don't know what is.

Agreed... I wasn't being serious.
But i am serious about them not paying off their tax debt!
It grinds my gears... it boils my piss.

They only still exist by the skin of their teeth, are in League One, signed a bunch of formerly decent players in their 30s who can't run anymore who are about to find out how difficult that league really is, have no assets left, a new owner who I think has bought the club with his heart instead of his head, are under financial restrictions due to them f***ing over local businesses, the taxman and every other football club that has played in the Championship over the past 5 seasons, bragged about all this, and are now (rightly) despised throughout the footballing world as the lying, cheating sheep shagging fuckwits they are. And they'd rather be in their position than ours because we've signed an England International on wages we can afford? Satan in Paradise Lost was less delusional!

The benevolent owners at Leicester have always stated the club should pay for itself, hence the sell before they buy policy.

I don't have much choice working in Leicestershire. The amount of folk where I work who appear to be obsessed with Forest, despite them being Leicester fans is remarkable.

With the absence of the Shaggers I'll have to accept the bin dippers as our local rivals instead.

Yes I know I lived there. But I'm also old enough to remember the running battles around filbert street that continued inside the ground before segregation.

Dipped in and out of the match as free on YouTube. Derby are trying to convince themselves that Leicester split their 1st team between both matches. Look at the line ups and where Brendan Rogers chose to go.

Anyway, Leicester stiffs didn't need any gears other than 1st. Davies and Chester are going to struggle against anyone who can run a bit. Hourihane already looked bored and playing as if he knows he's made the wrong choice. James Collins is so unfit and I expect just as crap when fit too. The only half decent showing came from Max Bird who like Lawrence last season has been guilt tripped into staying by being added as a captain.

I've just put a tenner on Oxford to win the first League match.
