Does anyone remember League 1 Derby County? (STILL the worst team in history!)

Just been for a look at what's going on next door in Mordor. Talk about doing their nut over something that is completely and utterly irrelevant to them as a 3rd division club!

Jesse Lingard is crap because they didn't like him when he played for them on loan . . . . . 7 and a half years ago. He will cripple us with his wages . . . . . because they don't understand the financing of the deal (surprise f***ing surprise!).

They're an embarrassment to their "club", themselves and their abused sisters. Absolutely deluded, thick as mince and irrelevant.

Aye. That's you, Crewton, you little prick.

Yet they wanked themselves silly over an ex Forest player who most of us didn't like who is now much much older 😂😂💩

I’m still praying that some other misdemeanour is going to appear out of the blue and the lowlifes get liquidated

That's not going to happen for now, Ol' Man. They have an owner who appears to be responsible, decent and with his head screwed on.

And that'll be his downfall.

We just need to sit back and wait until they're struggling in mid/lower division 3 at Christmas. An afterthought while we take our seat at the top table and prove people wrong and enjoy it. Then they'll turn on him. Once a ram, always a ram and all that. The poor f***er won't know what's hit him and how ungrateful, spiteful, stupid and deluded his fellow "fans" can be.

It'll be fun. Sit tight and wait for it (y)

I bet you any money Connor Hourihane will be a higher percentage of their annual revenue than Lingard is for ours.

To be honest they are like County now, it’s not even worth listening to them anymore. Small man syndrome.

After the euphoria of actually getting a takeover, the reality of their now found status is slowly dawning on them. That status is of a skint average League 1 side who face many years recovering from a deserved downfall. After blowing their little budget on a couple of decent players for that level, they are now filling the gaps with old dross. Come November they will be relying on youth backups again.

Looking up at us must be so painful for them, as they came so close to the promised land a few times. Very much 'Look at what you could have won'.

Oh well 😄

Youve hit the nail on the head here.

There is a worrying lack of understanding basic percentages on that forum, like I said before its hard to tell if its a joke or they are genuinley that thick.

They speak about about the Lingard deal as if its THEM signing him. Has anybody told them weve just scopped 180-200m? The irony of it is that even IF Lingard was on 200k per week the deal equates to approximately 10m. Weve signed several other players this window alone with an overall cost vastly greater than that of Lingard. Yet the Lingard deal is going to "bankrupt" us :ROFLMAO:

I can only put it down to desperation through jealousy because its not remotely difficult to understand. Weve seen it before though during the whole admin thing, conststantly burying their head in the sand.

You do wonder how long it will be before the reality hits home and they see that the gulf between us in every respect is unlikely to close for the foreseeable future. I suspect this will be around December when Forest are looking unlikely to get releagted and they are making zero impact in the 3rd tier, it'll come. By the end of next season, our thread on their forum will be deleted, and they will create one about Burton Albion instead.

Aye... I've said many times before, Derby fans are full of desperation and jealousy. Crewton visits these pages every day to feed his jealous and desperate needs. When Derby were in the Premier League and we were in the third division I was envious of them. I wasn't bitter and twisted like Crewton and co, I took it on the chin. Yes l laughed when they got tonked every week, but f**k me, those next door are seriously bitter, twisted and deluded.

When we were in L1 it was that bad I didnt even give derby a thought, other than laugh at MOTD every week. Was far more concerned with our problems. You have to understand though Rocka, its new to them, they think they are the big boys, the reality hasnt hit home yet......but it will.

Its also easier for us because ultimately we will always be a bigger club, a more successful club and we know they couldnt possibly dream of achieving what we have, so we will always have that in the bank. For them its harder, any success for us just magnifies the disparity even further and the thought of that kills them. They are becoming more like Notts Notts county by the day.

They will be f***ing raging this season when we play Leicester :ROFLMAO: One of their fans said the other week when Lineker talked about "The East Midland derby" "Whats this about Forest and Leicester, surely we have a bigger rivalry with Leicester than Forest":LOL::LOL:

Morning Crewton 👋

Aye Redders, some of us old 'uns remember the Forest - Leicester rivalry that took place before the Forest - Derby rivalry ever happened. They're too thick to know that.

I'm not arsed about rivalries with Leicester, but them establishing themselves as bigger than Derby (now 5 major trophies to Derby's 3) is hilarious to me.

They aren't even the East Midlands 2nd biggest club anymore; watching Match of the Day hype up the games between
the two East Midlands "big guns" on a Saturday evening after having watched their team get easily turned over by someone like MK Dons earlier in the day is going to really sting.

They f***ing hated it when we drew Leicester in the cup as well, getting jealous and angry at people calling it the East Midlands derby, next seaon is gonna kill them :ROFLMAO:

They better get used to it. Forest and Leicester are relevant, Derby are not. There was more interest in the media for the Forest vs Leicester game in the FA Cup than there has been for any recent Forest vs Derby game.

In fact, since Rooney left it is as if Derby don't exist anymore in the eyes of the media.

Leicester can’t even be arsed to send the first team out against them this afternoon. It’s a reserve team going to Derby. The first team play Preston. Mighty Derby playing second fiddle to lowly Preston
All first team players in the starting XI other than the keeper... this could be fun.

er... is that lowly Preston, of the Championship, and Mighty Derby of League 1 (who still owe me and the rest of us >£40m, and shouldn't be allowed to play in a professional league, anywhere?).

I don't have much choice working in Leicestershire. The amount of folk where I work who appear to be obsessed with Forest, despite them being Leicester fans is remarkable.

With the absence of the Shaggers I'll have to accept the bin dippers as our local rivals instead.

Were getting there lads, in 3 weeks weve gone from being relegated with less that 11 points to this:

Getting this in early but if they stay up (God forbid) it’s because it’s not a normal season. There’s a massive break in November and December because of the World Cup
