Tomorrow then?
Much as that would amuse me, I think Clowes is in too deep, with owning the stadium, to turn back now - even when he’s having his pants pulled down.Rumours the deal is falling thru again
I have always read it as Clownes (wonder why ), so I'm thinking it is more like 'Ploughs'.The new guy who is trying to buy DC, is his name Clowes pronounced to rhyme with "Ploughs" or to rhyme with "Flows"?
Or another way I haven't even thought of?
Ploughs, I had to speak to them a few years back and the receptionist gave me a bollocking for pronouncing it like flows…
I think its pronounced Mug ....The new guy who is trying to buy DC, is his name Clowes pronounced to rhyme with "Ploughs" or to rhyme with "Flows"?

Errm, yes you may use my use my artwork.
I definitely looks, from the outside, like he’s been taken for a mug by Kirchner.I think its pronounced Mug ....
Absolutely. Kirchner was their only hope but laying into Mad Mel on Twitter when his first attempt broke down came back to bite him when he came back a 2nd time. Someone needed to get the ground and Clowes stepped up. Perhaps naive as he didn't know CK that well but you can be sure Cook/Rooney/Stretford would have been in his ear too. It was a done deal. Money shortly to clear and then you've got yourself a stadium on the cheap and can start collecting rent.I definitely looks, from the outside, like he’s been taken for a mug by Kirchner.
Nowt to do with me, I’d use an undercover name like “Duildabonfire178”New member next door 'Igorsdream'.
Anyone off here?
He looks absolutely ecstatic, and who can blame him?
Good. Hope the bastard rots without a club. Doesn't even deserve to play for Derby on an embargo contract. In other Derby news. Well maybe not now he's a free agent but looks like no-one wants Tom Lawrence with his silly wages demands.
Clowes is almost certainly going to see a significant chunk of his personal wealth wiped out by the whole episode though, when all is said and done.Absolutely. CK was all or nothing though to Quantuma. There was no-one waiting to step in if he failed. Certainly no-one happy to rent the ground. Clowes suddenly had Derby's life in his own hands. Keep the ground empty and liquidate the club or pay the money required to save it.
I'm not sure Derby fans realise how close to liquidation they have come, and how lucky to have this fella.
Almost certainly. He's going to want to move the club on ASAP when it is more stable and the embargo is over next year.Clowes is almost certainly going to see a significant chunk of his personal wealth wiped out by the whole episode though, when all is said and done.
