Origi gets into some great positions. There ends the list of positives, unfortunately.

However, that knack of getting into those positions is difficult to coach. That's probably why he keeps on getting time on the pitch.

Even Origi admits that he is shit..

Just looking at his stats on Soccerbase (not always the most accurate, but usually near enough), and according to that his recent goal record is:

19/20 - 6 goals in 44 appearances
20/21 - 1 goals in 18 appearances
21/22 - 6 goals in 21 appearances
22/23 - 2 goals in 36 appearances

15 goals over 4 seasons and 119 appearances.

A goal once every 8 games and not scoring more than 6 goals in as season in over 4 years.

So I'm not expecting many, if any, goals out of him ever tbh. Maybe he'll surprise us, but a prolific finisher he 'aint.

That miss (or failure to pass) was criminal

I'm consoling myself with the fact that historically he does well against Everton.

Also Elanga should be back. Gives us back the duel sided attack, with Reyna he played almost centrally like Nico when was a “winger” earlier under Nuno.

If the answer is Divock Origi then you're likely asking the wrong questions
After a decade of reading this forum- this finally made me create an account.

Who has incriminating photos of Nuno that he doesn't want to be released?
Who is the worst footballer you've seen in a Forest shirt?
Who is someone you'd reverse over if you hit them with your car?

This guy is the biggest fraud I have ever seen. How he got a contract on £100k+ a week is mindboggling! I (As a slightly overweight 36 year old man) would have had more goal involvements this season than this clown, given the opportunity he has had. If he never plays for us again, it will be too soon.

Welcome mate. Always funny to hear what people's tipping point was to finally post

Super frustrating. Does some really good stuff but absolutely shats it when he gets into the box.

Obviously today, he didn't know whether to shoot or pass/cross and just wellied it way too far ahead of Wood. For me, Wood wasn't quite there yet and he should have shot and Wood would have been there for a potential rebound. What he did was just shit.

Bit harsh on Tavares. He'd linked up with CHO really well until he got injured. Shite today yes, but he's ring rusty so I'll give him the benefit of the doubt.
I've been critical of Tavares, but I agree that he was just starting to show some promise before he got injured. He's certainly got more about him than Origi, and might still have a role to play in the last 5 games.

Hard to know here his best position is really, is it in the stands or sitting at home? Not really sure how he is best deployed.
We could, and probably should have brought Emmanuel Dennis back in January and sent this guy back to Milan, for a few reasons really.

It's not that Dennis is the second coming or anything, but he's our player. Our player that we have really heavily subsided going back to Watford and considering how that has gone for him, he's probably not worth much in the way of a fee now. Origi took about six months to look like anything useful and after a couple decent games, he's back to being useless.

At least Dennis is rapid and he'd have been confident enough to put his f***ing foot through that chance Origi had. Origi didn't score against Bristol City, he was hit by the ball.

Divock doesn't believe and neither does anyone else. Play Konate or someone if we're short. Hell, I'd take Big Cheik on the wing at this point lmao.

When you're on sight of a goal and continously blaze it wide, that's Origi....

When you're bearing on goal and a team mate to pass but you do neither, that's Origi....

When you can't hit the cow's back side with a banjo, that's Origi....

When you're at death's door, facing a firing squad and they ask your final wish, that's Origi....
