I was on the tube to Wembley Park next to Spence's mum and family with everyone singing the "Warnock said that Spence was shite" song, and she was singing along. It was absolutely mental!

I was on the train with his Dad and he certainly made it clear a move to us was unlikely. The family met up at Wembley Park.
Wish him all the very best, the post by Des Walker earlier was excellent and summed it all up.
i am sure they will all retain a very fond memory of the club and fans and they will always be welcome at the WFCG.

Wish him well for the future except when it’s against us. His loan spell benefited him and us and Middlesbrough. I don’t begrudge Middlesbrough because they could have recalled him mid season if memory serves me right.

Can't Play Left-Back
I must admit, I had doubts whether Djed's swashbuckling style of play would be appreciated by Conte. I've got a feeling Djed's either going to become one of the best and complete fullbacks/wingbacks in the world, or he's gonna fade into obscurity after a couple of mistakes gets bomb-squadded. Please don't ruin him Spurs!

Read a report yesterday about Spence where Conte stated he was a 'club choice' as opposed to his. Will be interesting to see how he progresses, I wonder if we might see him back one day...
