What makes it even funnier is that they are a mirror image of what fans say on here. Some of our fans are self aware and get the irony. But others seem totally unable to grasp this.

I love the first nine ambitious and confident posts then the realisation gradually sinks in that the team is not as strong as they might have hoped! There is a, fading, hope that Cocu is renowned for blooding youngsters so it will be all right on the night.

Love these threads Calvin, win or lose, they always shine a light on football fans and their narrow vision of others.

And, just to make sure this time, I include our wonderful supporters. We mostly see life from our own vantage point, as we should; it's tribal.
