Norwich, Reading and Nottingham Forest set to move for highly-rated League One midfielder

Leyton Orient’s Dean Cox is reportedly on the shopping lists of a number of Championship clubs, according to Sky Sports.

The 26-year-old is attracting interest from Norwich City, Reading and Nottingham Forest.

The winger who can also play as an attacking midfielder, scored 17 goals in 53 appearances for Orient this season, including one in the play-off semi-final win over Peterborough and also in the final against Rotherham.

Cox currently has one-year left on his contract which expires at the end of the 2014/15 season.

His goal in the League One play-off final was not enough to see Orient gain promotion to the Championship, as Rotherham came back to win on penalties.

Too many Cox spoil the broth!

...there, a clean Cox joke/pun - didn't think it could be done to be honest

I like us looking at players like this from league one, talented, good age and hungry. Do hope this is the way Pearce is going

This excites me. After the emergence of Patterson this year, signings like this give me a real good feeling.

Pretty sure I saw him rip us to shreds for Brighton last season we were in League 1.

We drew 0-0, somehow. He made us look slightly daft back then.

But that would make him 17/18 or something, now I think of it.

He looks like an eighties Division Four footballer who gets interviewed on Grandstand every three years on FA Cup 3rd round day whilst he paints a portrait of Gerald Sinstadt. For that reason, it's a 'yes' from me.

I meant Stevie Mays. Dean Cox could be anybody. Just sounds like a made up Notts County centre half.
