He's in talks and we are negotiating with him doesn't mean we are close to signing him. Lots can go wrong with the clubs and player.

If this comes off then I feel bad for Samba but it sends a very strong message to players who want to take the piss in the media.

Pros - Dean Henderson in goal
Other players thinking about signing but wondering if we're the real deal have been sent a strong message of intent.

Cons - Rule out a Garner loan?

What's Henderson like with the ball at his feet? This attribute in a Cooper team is just as important as the fundamentals otherwise Horvath would be our number 1. Or are we changing our style in a more difficult league?

I'd imagine so. £20m for Henderson isn't bad for a keeper of his age and quality though, and we wouldn't start paying it until next season (kicking the FFP can a little bit down the road).

I think Tuanzebe had left before Olsen arrived. Also I believe loans from overseas are treated differently to PL loans.

Hmmm.

Let's see what happens.

I will be majorly dissapointed if we miss out on Garner because of a loan slot issue.

Hopefully this is true, for a team like us who will be at the bottom this will be a great signing. The concentration issues i mentioned earlier won’t effect him here as he will be a busy boy every week.

Looks like this one is moving fast.

Much like last season, perhaps we won't hear much about most of our signings until they are pretty much done.

Henderson is good but its not a priority either so not sure how to feel with this because I do like Garner and he is more a priority. However saying that Henderson's transfer a buy now pay later sort of deal is also very good for us. So god knows how I feel about this. It is exciting though like doing something naughty 😂 Most people rate him and like him and that feels good.

I'd say it's a huge priority if Samba wants out, which it looks like he does.
