To have the bottle to take a penalty on your debut speaks volumes and put it exactly we’re he put it in the Youth Cup against Leicester. I know one team who will be wishing they had taken Danny on loan. Oh dear. Well done Danny

Left-back who loves to take a pen ! Forest used to have one of those. Really pleased for him. Holloway says there was League 1 interest in him too.

Another positive is McGuane took his penalty and scored his today. Two young lads not shying away from the pressure.

Hopefully by the time he comes through (if he does), we'll have stopped signing loads of crap players and big wages who need to be paid for by selling all of our best young players on low wages.Doing the sae thing over and over again and expecting a different result isn't a good business model..

Player rating for Danny against Walsall yesterday. Add this to the 8/10 last week so it seems he’s settling into league 2 football very well. The rating is from the Grimsby Telegraph.
Danny Preston: Another really encouraging performance from the Nottingham Forest loanee. Couldn’t quite come up with the sort of contribution that saw him impress last week, but it wasn’t for a lack of trying 6/10.

There does seem to be some suggestion that they sent him back to free up space for a few incomings.
