Actually saw a stat on Twitter that Coady won 12% of his aerial duels & 13% of his tackles this season and had to look whether it was actually true or not. Turns out it was, and this does not paint a good picture of Coady at all.

Yep, parachute payments already swallowed up by that loan and half the Maddison money already spent on Coady and Winks. Feels a bit like the old shit or bust approach.

Same; I initially thought it would be a good signing for them based on the fact that I thought the fee would be something more sensible like £2-3m. £7.5m changes my perception on this drastically though. Wolves laughing all the way to the bank.

As I said earlier in the thread, he's a central defender that doesn't do any defending. He'll sweep up, do a lot of pointing and clapping and probably see a lot of the ball. He'll probably do very well for Leicester, especially if he plays with Souttar who'll head everything but that's a lot of money.
