I’d take him all day, get him in and see him grow alongside MGW, BJ and Danilo.

These are the type of signings we should continue making if we wish to emulate teams like Brentford and push up the league.

Young English player at Man City on the back of winning the Euros? He could end up costing quite a bit beyond what we're willing to play.

Looks like he’s off to Chelsea for £45 million. World gone mad

How would buying a £45m-rated novice from Man City be like a thing Brentford woukd do?
They’d sign someone with the same ability from abroad for a fraction of the price.

The point still stands that we should continue buying young players with sell on value like Danilo. This lad fits that description even if Chelsea want to pay way too much for a player, again.

All the big boys are just shuffling around the academy assets at inflated prices so they can rig the FFP and pillage everyone else aren’t they?

Meanwhile Spurs are too tight to cough up for Brennan.

Was wondering if we could get him in on loan but £45m fee means we'd have had no chance.
