How long will it be before someone points out this shouldn't be in Forest banter?

This shouldn't be in Forest banter.

There, that didn't take long did it?

Maybe they should make all coins bigger than eyes, that way the persons face would have to take the brunt of any well aimed shot, leaving the eye perfectly in tact.

On a similar note.

I saw some Swans the other week, just walking around like they owned the place. How long until someones arm actually gets broken?

Simple solution: Ban Coins from Football stadiums.

Obviously this would give Marthur a great excuses to round up the price of a pint, a hotdog or a coke to £5...

It's an Englishman's inalienble right to throw coins at anyone he so wishes.

This PC liberal nonsense is just another example of the erosion of our national identity. Soon we'll only be allowed to throw Drachma, thanks to the looney policies of the EU Bureaucrats who get fat off my taxes whilst eating straight bananas.

How long till arrogant footballers are banned, thus saving me a lot of money as I wont have to chuck any more coins!

If arrogant footballers were banned, we'd probably struggle to round up enough players to play a single fixture every weekend.

How on earth are you going to throw Drachma when the currency of the EU is the Euro?

You didn't have to surrender your Drachma in some form of out of date currency amnesty.

What makes me more mad is with the most recent incident, Drogba has had a coin pelted at him victimised and targeted. He lobs it back in to thousands.

As wrong as it is why is Drogba set to be punished? OK I suppose the hand gesture has made it worse for him. But considering the linesman who was victimised and the other occassions this has happened to players. Has anyone been prosecuted or even punished? I know it is a nightmare to try and find 1 person in thousands.

But to then punish a player for throwing it back in does seem a tad harsh to me.

That is, without doubt, one of the most ludicrous things ever posted on this forum (and christ knows there's a lot of competition in that area).

So congratulations - I'm sure Winnits will get round to presenting you with your award in the very near future.

Actually, maybe we could get that lovely old chap that sits behind you to present it.

Yes, throwing it back is infinitely worse.

Not only was it retaliation by someone in the public eye, he threw it into a crowd of, as you say, thousands. I don't need to tell you the odds that it hit the person who originally threw it.

Does being in the public eye make the misdemeanour less acceptable?

Sets a bad example.

That's before you even get into the prospect of such behaviour towards oposition fans being the kind of behaviour that's likely to set off a major crowd disturbance, which the stewards and police would then have to deal with.

Yes.

People in the public eye are often looked at for the setting examples.

Although selecting John Terry for the Respect campaign questions this somewhat.
