Now Billy is back, I wonder how the much publicised 'left back problem' will develop...?
Our options.. Harding is capable and can be reasonable going forward but is often skinned and allows far too much space for crosses into the box..
Greg Halford, a competent defender who has probably been our best performer all season, however, would probably be better plugging one of the two gaping holes down the middle of the pitch.
Perhaps Cohen might do a job there? Before we start saying, 'he's our best midfielder, why sacrifice him' I think his energy and blood and guts attitude could do a job over-lapping Reidy on the left. This would free up some space in midfield for Lewis/Lansbury. Cohen, to be honest, is slighly wasted on the right. Not saying he should be the sacrificial lamb, but, given his ability and leftfoot it might be better for the team as a whole.
GK: Darlow (although I suspect Billy will look to bring in some more experience)
RB: Jara
CB: Halford
CB: Collins/Ward (I think Collins will retain his position)
LB: Cohen
RM: McGugen/Lansbury (think this may be a position Billy tries to fill in the loan market)
CM: (holding): Pep (please, please, please Billy - don't go with the mouse!)
CM: (attacking): Radi
LM: Reidy
CF: Sharp
CF: Cox
available options - Lewis/Lansbury or vice versa.. Gillet/Mouse/Greening for Pep/radi.. Dexter for Radi if the game needs..
certainly an attacking menace in the side.. may be a rejuvenated Lewis might be like a new signing and inspire the team! or maybe he'll be frustratingly inconsistent and we'll lose 1 - 2..
