I am absolutely shocked we've managed to get rid of him, and that he's actually bothered to go somewhere else (although admittedly, Melbourne is quite a nice place to go to).

Great to get this guy away and off the wage bill and bomb squad.

I'm personally relaxed about Bong, though he is a below average player he seems a decent guy and you frequently see him joining in goal celebrations. Feel a bit sorry for him really. He was maybe once a decent player, but he really isn't now. That being said, we shouldn't keep people on just because they are good guys.

That's pretty much my feelings on Bong as well. Unlike some bomb squad players over the years, I don't think Bong is a leech who is just happy to sit around collecting his pay packet, he comes across as genuinely wanting to get involved so I don't have any ill feeling towards him really. Unfortunately he is just past his best and is not very good now, but I don't think its for lack of trying to be fair to him.
