One less gobshite...
It's one of the oddities that Anfield, which is about 3 miles from the Sea, at 207ft is more than twice the height of the WFCG, which although many 10s of miles inland is only at 95ft.

Pretty sure its one of our own from here: Barry.

It's a question that gets asked quite often in quizzes and I've learned plenty of times it's definitely not Jermaine Dafoe.

So the Trent only drops by 95ft all the way to the Humber Estuary? Wow!

This thread is for the Football League, so England only... EFL + EPL
Shame!
I once played a game on New Year's Day.
we were riding high at the top of the division we were in.
The opposition were a pub team, bottom of the division.
Only 8 of their players were able to lace their boots that day, and those 8 were absolutely sloshed.
We won 47-0.
I was in goal and scored 5.
It would have been a double-hatrick, but I hit the post with a penalty.
True story that!

My other thought, but it didnt meet the "old chestnut" test, was Liverpool and Man City drew 0-0 and one of them win on penalties. But I guess you class a penalty as a goal too?
Absolutely.
I am surprised Nobody seems to know this one.
It used to be a regular in pub quizzes when I was a lad.
