Without checking the records-I reckon Forest have never played an away 1st team fixture
at the following League 2 clubs-Crawley,Harrogate,Morecambe,Salford,Sutton
and Forest Green.
I don’t think we have visited Newport since the 1950s.

I remember being surprised how modern stadium was.

Sammy McIllroy was their Gaffer at the time.

I too have seen the Morecambe ground but only from the outside-it did look fairly modern as
far as I could see.
I can find no records of Forest playing a friendly there-I’m fairly certain I would have gone as I
always try to get to new grounds (especially where it may be a one-off visit like Rochdale).
Perhaps someone else on the forum could confirm whether or not we have been to Morecambe
to play a friendly (with dates,score etc).
Edit-I’m as certain as I can be we haven’t been there since they joined the Football League
in 2007.

Just told my wife about this brain fart.

Apparently we went there for a wedding in 2011.

So I must be confusing it with our trip to Fleetwood, who also have a modern stadium but we're not managed by Sammy McIllroy.

Ipswich put alot of English clubs European records to shame. Not ours obviously !

The other one was Moses Ashikodi. Wonderful career
Managed to play for Watford in the Prem, Glasgow Rangers, most of the England under age groups and nearly every non-league club in the country
